Aquasource was founded in
Toulouse, France, in 1984 to develop ultrafiltration products
and processes for water treatment. The company forms part
of Degrémont's Technologies Division, specializing
in the manufacture and sales of water treatment equipment.
Aquasource designs and manufactures
hollow-fiber filtration membranes from different materials
for incorporation into a wide range of modules (from 1 to
125 m²) to meet all ultrafiltration needs and applications.
All of our modules have the required public health authorizations
for use with drinking water.
Aquasource has committed
to serving its municipal, local authority and industrial
clients by opting for the best materials and best membrane
geometry for each ultrafiltration application. Our industrial
facilities can produce hollow fibers in either cellulose
triacetate or hydrophilic polysulfone.
Aquasource offers two main categories
of equipment:
For moderately sized water treatment facilities Aquasource
offers its clients autonomous units using proven and patented
processes that guarantee minimum investment and operating
costs.
For large plants, Aquasource
offers a packaged deal to system integrators (OEM), in conjunction
with its Rack Concept. This offer is accompanied by provision
of design and sizing tools for the integration of Aquasource
modules, as well as supportive training on reliable engineering
methods for their use.
In addition to capitalizing
feedback on the many treatment units installed, the LEMA'
Aquasource laboratory continues to innovate, working in collaboration
with numerous scientific research centers involved in ultrafiltration
projects. With the backing of LEMA's
unique know-how, the company is able to offer expertise (membranes,
modules, processes), membrane evaluation, customized fiber
development, process improvements and pilot units.
With 25 years of experience
Aquasource now has a worldwide portfolio of plants that have
been operating reliably for over a decade. Our strength stems
from the fact that we focus on our core activity, ultrafiltration,
and ensure complete mastery of the entire value chain from
manufacture of the hollow-fibers through to commissioning.
