Aquasource's aim is to provide its clients with the solutions
that are most appropriate for their projects.
Which
membrane material for which application?
Cellulose
triacetate is a naturally hydrophilic material
that gives high filtration flow rates for very turbid
water. Its characteristics mean that cleaning frequency
is low and maintenance requires only a limited use
of chlorine. This is an ideal material for waters
with low TOC loads guaranteeing minimal investment
and operating costs (CAPEX and OPEX). It is also
favorable to sustainable development as its use
is synonymous with absence of polluting chemical
discharges.
For water likely to cause ‘fouling’
(presence of TOC, algae, etc.) or when ultrafiltration
pretreatment is very limited; membranes have to
be cleaned more regularly with strong chemical agents.
In these conditions, a polysulfone
membrane able to withstand a wide range of pHs
is the most appropriate solution.
Aquasource modules can be equipped
with whichever material is most appropriate to a client's
needs.
Which
applications do Aquasource products cover?
Aquasource has solutions
suitable for every size of plant.
They can be used alone or can be integrated into a complex
treatment line. They cover the known ultrafiltration
applications:
Drinking water (all
origins)
Ultra-pure process water
(pharmaceutical or electronics industries, bottling,
etc.)
Recycling and re-use
of municipal or industrial wastewater (cooling
systems, golf courses and gardens, road cleaning
and vehicle washing, process water, etc.)
